Our Beliefs

  • We acknowledge that sincere and intelligent children of God may hold different doctrinal (non-essential) views. As children of God we are dedicated to cultivate and nurture our unity as a family of God and to Love one another as Christ commanded us (John 13:34-35).
    • We believe that the Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) are the inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) presenting to us the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and constituting the Divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice (2 Pet.1: 21)
    • We believe that there is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit who are co-equal, co-existent and co-eternal (Mat. 3:16, 17; 28:18, 19; 2 Cor. 13:14; John 1:1, 2, 18; 10:33; 14:26; 15:26; Phil 2:6; Heb. 9:14)
    • We believe that Jesus Christ is eternally begotten of the Father who accepted earthly limitations for the purpose of incarnation, being true God and true man; conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the just for the unjust as a substitution sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on High as our great High Priest, and He will return again to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and justice
    • We believe that The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, Executive of the Godhead on earth, the Comforter sent by the Lord Jesus Christ to indwell, to guide and to teach the believer, and to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment
    • We believe that God gives all believers spiritual gifts; which are for the strengthening of Believers and as a proof of God’s existence and power to Non-believers
    • We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and sin in thought, word, and deed. Hence, all humanity is lost and totally alienated from God, and in need of divine forgiveness and salvation
    • We believe that Salvation is made possible through the meritorious work of Jesus Christ on the cross and through the conviction of The Holy Spirit; and that it is the gift of God to man by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone producing works acceptable to God (Eph. 2:8)
    • We believe in the true Church of God built upon the Foundation of Jesus Christ as the Body of Christ and Himself being the Head
    • We believe in baptism in water by immersion as a direct commandment of our Lord, and as a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection
    • We believe that sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation
    • We believe that the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper is a commandment of our Savior and Lord as a memorial to His death and resurrection (1Cor. 11:27)
    • We believe in: the resurrection of the Just, hell, and, eternal retribution; the one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance (Hebrews 9:27).
